The drug unit in Napanee can thank the K-9 unit for locating a quantity of drugs in a home last evening. The OPP dog sniffed out 220-grams of marijuana and 3.2 grams of cocaine which were concealed in a hidden compartment in a 7-up can. Some cash and drug paraphernalia was seized and 8 Napanee area residents face possession for the purpose of trafficking charges. 31-year old Derek Babcock, 37-year old Joshua Baird, 33-year old Maria Doiron, 34-year old Adam Pellatt, 38-year old William Sanderson, 37-year old Jamie Wafer, 38-year old old Christopher Tallen and 31-year old Ashley Free all appear in court next month.
