A record setting night for the Quinte Children’s Foundation at its annual Guardian Angel Gala last weekend.
The foundation reports almost 140 thousand dollars was raised to support the programs of the Foundation including, Playing For Keeps, Summer of Hope, and the Reach For Success Bursary.
Rotary President John Cairns was honoured as the foundation’s “Guardian Angel”… and all 40-plus members of the Rotary Club in attendence… accepted the honour by breaking out in song.
The Q-C-F has a number of events planned in the coming months… including the first annual Ken Sykes Memorial Fun Run on May 1st.
