A Campbellford man faces charges following a police pursuit south of Peterborough.
The O-P-P tried to pull over a vehicle yesterday on County Road Two near Keene driven by a man wanted in a domestic investigation, but the vehicle took off at a high rate of speed.
Officers followed the car, but stopped near Peterborough because of safety concerns. The vehicle was found a short time later in Peterborough, and police discovered the suspect inside an apartment building. Nine charges were laid against the 36-year-old man, whose name wasn’t released, including dangerous driving, failing to stop for police and flight from police .
