It took a few hours, but OPP have arrested a suspect after an armed robbery at a Napanee bank early this morning.
A 55 year old woman was using an ATM machine at the Royal Bank on Dundas East in Napanee, when she was roughed up by a man with a knife. The victim was left alone after she handed over some cash. She was not injured.
Napanee OPP, along with officers from the emergency response team, tactics and rescue, and canine unit searched the area. This afternoon at about 1:30, an arrest was made. 42 year old Sidney Nute of Napanee faces charges. He appears for a bail hearing tomorrow.
