Two large road projects planned in Prince Edward County this year should come close to budget.
Three-million dollars was set aside for paving and culvert work on County Roads 25 and 15, including a new turning lane at 15 and County Road 49.
County Engineer Joe Angelo says two tenders were received by yesterday’s deadline for submissions, and he will be sending a recommendation to council early next month. He says both are very close to the budgeted amount.
