A committee of the Hastings-Prince Edward School Board has been given an update on plans to address low student enrolment at two schools south of Picton.
The Student Enrolment School Capacity Committee was told this week the Accomodation Review Committee for South Marysburgh and Athol Public Schools supports closing South Marysburgh.
Athol would become a kindergarten to Grade eight facility. The Committee will meet again for the fourth and final time at South Marysburgh School on March 22nd, before presenting its final report to the board.
