The Quinte Region is getting a lift with some cash from the Provincial Government.
M-P-P Leona Dombrowsky made a funding announcement… aimed to help parents in Prince Edward-Hastings play a more active role in their Children’s Education.
Dombrowsky announced 13 grants as part of the Parents Reaching Out program.
The Grants include 900 dollars for a Parent Resource Library at the Sagonaska Demonstration School and 725 dollars for Our Lady of Fatima for a school interpreter to help with continuing language barriers.
Other Prince Edward Hastings schools receiving grants include Tyendinaga Public, Stirling Senior, Queen Elizabeth, Harry J Clarke, Tweed Hungerford Senior, and Madoc Public.
