The former base commander at C-F-B Trenton is apparently no longer on suicide watch at the Quinte Detention Centre in Napanee.
A report earlier today indicated Russ Williams was put on that watch when he entered the jail after being arrested by the O-P-P on two counts of first degree murder and two counts of sexual assault.
However, the Kingston Whig-Standard is reporting Williams has since been allowed to exchange his suicide gown for a standard issue, orange jumpsuit. He is scheduled to make a video appearance in court next thursday.
