Residents of a township north of Napanee will be asked what they think about getting rid of the municipality’s three wards.
A public meeting in Centreville on March first will discuss electing the six councillors in Stone Mills Township at large, and not just by electors in the respective wards of Newburgh, Camden East and Sheffield.
The issue may be put to a referendum in this year’s election, and would be implemented, if approved, in 2014.
