Quinte Health Care Supervisor Graham Scott has handed over control of the four local hospitals to the new QHC Board. At last night’s board meeting…Scott admitted his work over the past 8-months has been challenging compared with a similar stint in Kingston a few years ago. He says the board in Kingston accepted everything given to them by management…but, that wasn’t the case in Quinte. Scott effectively replaced the old QHC board and governance structure. He says more information on QHC’s financial position…is expected when an announcement is made at next Mondays opening of the new 100-million dollar Sills Wing at BGH. and, a new CEO could be named later this week.
