A current councillor and a former councillor and M-P-P have filed their nomination papers in Prince Edward County for this year’s municipal election.
Picton representative Laverne Bailey put in his nomination papers yesterday, hoping to continue representing that ward on council.
Paul Johnson, a former councillor until 2003, and a local N-D-P M-P-P for five years in the early 1990’s, also registered at Shire Hall as a councillor candidate in Athol Ward.
