Fire destroyed a 150 thousand dollar corn dryer north of Brighton Tuesday morning.
It’s not known what caused the early morning blaze. The dryer can hold up to 20 tonnes of corn. Brighton and Warkworth firefighters responded to the blaze, which occurred at Northumberland Grain, on Rush Road.
