There is nothing a Belleville friend of former Canadian boxer Shawn O’Sullivan would like more for Christmas than the return of the athlete’s stolen championship rings..
The owner of Quinte Roofing, Kevin Putnam, who offered a five-thousand dollar reward in September for the return of the rings, says there hasn’t even been one call to Crimestoppers or a special secure phone number set up for the person responsible to call.
O’Sullivan’s 10 rings were stolen from his downtown Belleville apartment in May, 2007.
Local auto dealer Bob Clute also offered a one thousand dollar reward for information leading to a return of the boxer’s rings.
