Brighton residents are enthusiastic about the new campaign to attract another doctor to the municipality.
The “Brighton’s Future” committee has received 19-thousand dollars in donations since it was launched in October..
The committee hopes to raise 150-thousand dollars to help a medical student repay student loans. The student, in return, will agree to practice medicine in Brighton after graduation for five years. The municipality will match donations up to half of the 150-thousand.
