The trial of a 16-year boy charged in the first-degree murder of a Warkworth woman is expected to start tomorrow.
Jury selection was underway yesterday in Peterborough Superior Court and was expected to wrap up last night, with a trial to last four to six weeks.
Thirty-three-year-old Michelle Barnoski was last seen on May 27th, 2008, and her body was found buried in the backyard of her Concession Street home two weeks later.
A date hasn’t yet been set for the trial of 35-year-old Marc Vickers, also charged with first-degree murder in the same case, but a pretrial hearing is scheduled for December eighth.
