Another banner month for building in Prince Edward County.
Chief Building Official Garry Davis says 87 permits for projects worth 10.8-million dollars were issued in October, including 20 new houses valued at 3.5-million.
Upgrades to the Picton Water Treatment Plant will cost 4.2-million dollars, and the other 3.1-million was in additions and renovations.
The County has set a new building value record, at 80-million dollars, beating the old record of 70.6-million set last year, and Davis expects at least another ten-million dollars in construction activity over the next two months..
