John Smylie of Smylie’s Independant Grocer in Trenton and Meyer’sTransport in Belleville were the big winners at the 13th annual Quinte Business Achievment Awards gala over the weekend. Smylie was named business person of the year….while Meyer’s took home the Business Excellence Award. Fifteen awards were handed in the shadow of the Halifax Bomber display at the Natioanl Air Force Museum at CFB Trenton.
