Anyone who owes traffic ticket or provincial fines to Northumberland County can expect a call.
County Council has aproved hiring an in-house collection specialist and two new third-party collection agencies to improve the recovery rates of outstanding cash in unpaid tickets.
Northumberland has 5.9-million dollar in accounts receivables on its books, with 5.4-million in unpaid Provincial Offences Act fines.
