A happy ending to the search for an elderly Bloomfield area man.
Eighty-one-year-old Blaine Foster was walking near his home on County Road one yesterday, and a search by Prince Edward O-P-P was started late last night after he was reported missing.
Local firefighters and a 4-2-4 squadron Griffon helicopter from C-F-B Trenton joined the search this morning, and the chopper spotted the man in a cornfield half a kilometre east of his residence at nine o’clock.
Police say Foster was taken to the Picton Hospital to be examined, but is believed to be in good condition.
