Repairs are finally done on the dam at Lingham Lake, northeast of Madoc.
The work was temporarily put on hold in July after vandals damaged equipment used by the contractor, delaying the completion date to this month..
Quinte Conservation General Manager Terry Murphy says the cost of repairing the control section of the dam, which was complicated by a valve becoming stuck open, was 200-thousand dollars.
The dam, built in 1925, controls the level of the lake and allows conservation staff to control the amount of water flowing downstream.
