School board officials and local politicians will be armed with round-mouthed shovels later today in South Cramahe Township. Public school students in the Colborne area…are getting a new school and the groundbreaking ceremony is set for 1:30 this afternoon at the site at the Castleton schoolyard. The Kawartha Pine Ridge Board approved the tender submitted by Tasis Contractors of Pickering at 6.8 million dollars earlier this year. The new Castleton-South Cramahe school is scheduled to open in time for the start of the 2010 school year.
