It was a September to remember for Quinte and District Real Estate Board members.
President Roy Millar says almost 58-million dollars worth of property changed hands last month, up by 25 per cent from the 46.3-million in September last year.
Of that 58-million, 46.8 million was for the sale of homes.
Millar says the most popular houses, making up 45 per cent of the sales, were in the 100-to 199-thousand-dollar range, as first time home buyers took advantage of low interest rates and affordably priced housing.
