Lots of discussions, and votes at Prince Edward County Council last night on the proposed housing and golf course development for Wellington. In a close vote, Prince Edward Council voted against deferring the matter to spring, to await a public planning process leading to a Wellington Secondary Plan. But, in a tie vote, a motion was turned down to allow an official plan amendment so the development could proceed.
Finally, Council voted to refer the 400 house golf course development back to planning staff for a report on further options. That report is expected within 30 days.
