A suspicious person has been taken off the streets of Belleville.
City police responded to a call of a suspicious person on Maple Drive around 3 a.m.
Police say they arrived to find a 26-year-old man driving drunk.
They say the man was given a breathalyzer test and failed…and when taken to the police station and given the same test, he again blew over the legal limit of blood alcohol levels.
He was released with a promise to appear in court.
