No charges will be laid as a result of an OPP investigation into the sale of recycle box hangers in Quinte West. Several people complained to police about the tactics of the door-to-door salesman, last week, and, Quinte Waste Solutions took issue their logo was attached to the packaging without permission. The owner has been given permission by Quinte West officials to sell the blue-box hanger system. They say there is no bylaw requiring the item and salesman is not permitted to go door-to-door.
