The preliminary hearing for the boy accused of murdering a Warkworth woman last year has begun.
The 16-year-old, along with Marc Vickers of Warkworth, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Michelle Barnoski in June, 2008.
Yesterday’s series of hearings in Cobourg Supreme Court was to determine what evidence, witnesses, and video or audio transcripts would be admissible in court for the boy’s trial, set to begin on October 19th.
Vickers returns to court on October 14th.
