Belleville is sticking with its original plan in hiring a new librarian, after dropping the one it hired about two years ago. Library Board Chair Councillor Garnet Thompson says there are no plans to switch to a more business-oriented administrator, but will go again with a master in library science. Earlier this summer Chief Librarian Mark Gagnon was let go from his position. The salary range for the position is from 84-to-92-thousand dollars.
