More affordable housing in the works for Hastings County. County Council has approved contracts for five affordable units in Bancroft and five more in Deseronto. Social Services executive Director Eric Frye says the province is also being asked to fund more housing in Bancroft…five units through hte county and twelve through a non-profit agency. Meanwhile Frye expects construction to begin this fall on affordable housing units in Belleville and Quinte West.
