A young boy…badly burned in a freak accident in May in southern Prince Edward County….is slowly recovering at Sick Kids hospital in Toronto. Joseph Stoness…who just turned nine a few weeks ago….was playing with gasoline and matches with a friend when he became fully envolved in flames near Long Point. The flames burnt his entire body except his feet and the left side of his face and he’ll continue to recieve costly treatments and surgeries for many years to come. Ken Taylor of the Wellington Legion says a benefit dinner, dance and auction is being held on October 3rd at the Legion.
