A post-mortem is expected to provide more details in the case of a body found at Papineau Beach near Bancroft.
Provincial police were called to the beach around 1:50 yesterday (SAT) afternoon.
Police say there is apparent trauma to the body, which is that of an unidentified adult woman.
Police are calling the case a homicide.
