Opponents of a temporary Belleville hospital employees’ parking lot on Bay Drive have almost two more months to prepare their case.
The Ontario Municipal Board will hold a hearing on November fifth at City Hall.
A group of concerned residents appealed City Council’s decision in mid-July to allow a rezoning of the Oddfellow’s Hall parking lot, so hospital employees could park there during the ongoing construction.
They say they’re concerned about the effect the increase in traffic will have on safety in their neighbourhood.
