A Cobourg pastor hopes to show some world record-breaking muscle at C-F-B Trenton next week.
The Reverend Kevin Fast, who will be in Trenton for the heavy events portion of the annual Scottish-Irish Festival tomorrow, will try to set a Guinness World Record for the heaviest aircraft pulled by an individual.
He will attempt on thursday morning to pull with a rope a CC-177 Globemaster five metres, one of only four of its kind in Canada’s Air Force..
A Guinness World Records adjudicator will be on hand to verify the accomplishment if Fast is successful, but the event is closed to the public. A Globemaster weighs 277-thousand pounds empty, and 585-thousand when fully loaded.
