The Special Investigations Unit has been called in to investigate an incident in which a Marmora man was injured in Norwood.
Peterborough County O-P-P responded yesterday to a complaint about a disturbance in a parking lot, and the suspect, who had left the scene on foot, was hurt while trying to flee police along Highway Seven.
Thirty-one-year-old Adrien Gervais was charged with two counts of assaulting police, uttering threats to cause death, causing a disturbance and resisting arrest.
He will appear for a bail hearing in Peterborough Court today.
