Hastings County is looking for “lone eagles” …entrepreneurs who want to leave the city and set up business in a rural setting. Manager of Economic Development Andrew Redden says these business people are being targeted under the county’s new Investment Strategy plan. He says they can get out of the large cities and conduct their business in a quieter rural setting using the internet. Hastings County Council has adopted the consultants’ plan which covers the next two years.
