Another drinking driver is off the roads in Belleville. A city police officer spotted the man, at 7:15 last night, and knew he was a suspended driver. The motorist attempted to avoid the officer but was stopped….a 46-year old man is charged with havuing more tha the legal amount of alcohol in his blood.
Meanwhile, officers and paramedics were called to a north-end bar, just before 2 o’clock this morning, where a man was injured in a fight. A suspect was arrested and charges are pending. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries at BGH.
