Eight men have been arrested in what the O-P-P in eastern Ontario says was a rogue paving crew peddling leftover asphalt to homeowners.
Residents in several counties, including in the Quinte area, were approached to buy paving services from workers who apparently had extra asphalt from paving highways.
In return, the residents got shoddy work and inflated bills.
The eight suspects from the Hamilton area were released on a promise to appear in court on October 14th.
