Hastings County is working on getting into the beer business. The County has just adopted a new strategic plan and Manager of Economic Development Andrew Redden is moving on it….saying local farmers are already growing barley and hops which could lead to a local craft brewery. This fall commerce students from Queens university will develop a business case for potential investors in such craft beer brewing in Hastings County.
