Poor summer weather couldn’t keep beach and camping enthusiasts away from Presquile Provincial Park this summer. Superintendent Tom Mates says the park had eight-thousand-507 more visitors so far this year…than last year at this time. He says people are staying closer to home because of the economic downturn and camping is a very affordable holiday. Mates says the newly-reconstructed boardwalk has attracted a lot of birders and walkers as well.
