The people responsible for dumping a load of mostly unusable materials at the Trenton Salvation Army Thrift Store have confessed.
Tenants moving out of their apartment last week left their belongings behind the store, resulting in an ongoing investigation by the O-P-P and the Quinte West bylaw enforcement officer.
They went to City Hall yesterday to pay the 430-dollar cost to the Public Works Department to remove the materials.
However, they didn’t apologize to the church, saying their stuff, which store staff considered unfit to sell, would have been good enough for someone else.
