The pipes are shot, so Prince Edward County Council has voted to install new sanitary sewers and water mains as part of it’s Main Street re construction project in Picton. The new work will add about 850 thousand dollars to the over 1.2 million dollar project. Council will delay two other water projects, one on County Road 8, and the other in Bloomfield to next year, to pay for the extra work on Main Street.
