An impaired driver came to a sudden stop in Belleville’s east-end overnight. City Police responded to reports of a loud bang, at 3 o’clock this morning, and found a vehicle had slammed into a pole. The man was arrested with blood-alcohol levels at nearly 3-times the legal limit.
