Farm-fresh fare is coming to a market near you.
The Belleville Farmers’ Market Association says this is the peak time in the season for local farmers with local produce brimming over at up to 40 market stands behind city hall.
Farmers are saying the “buy local” marketing campaign has rubbed off on their customers… and that’s a good thing.
Open-air markets run every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday all year ’round in Belleville and until October in Quinte West.
