A new scholarship program at Loyalist College will offer free tuition to dependents of Canadian Forces Personnel, who’ve lost their lives in an active military mission.
Loyalist is the first college to participate in Project Hero, which has been introduced in some Canadian Universities.
It was first introduced at Newfoundland and Labrador’s Memorial University by Retired General Rick Hillier.
Student’s will be eligible for the assistance for up to six semesters of study, including on-campus residence fees for the first two semesters.
The program will run starting this September through August 2014.
