Kingston may have come out on top in the “Count Me In ” energy reducing challenge last Friday, but officials say we’re all winners. Belleville residents did their part …cutting the lights, turning off the TVs, powering down by two-point-five percent. The city of Woodstock had originally started the blackout challenge a few years ago. Mayor Michael Harding congratulates Belleville on its showing and says every little bit helps. Kingston residents cut their power use by seven-point-four percent on challenge day.
