The smog alert is over in Quinte….and, soon the heat and humidity will be gone as well. Environment Canada lifted the smog alert last night as increasing clouds and winds are moving cleaner air into the region. It was the hottest day of the year yesterday with the top-temp at 30-degrees atthe CFB Trenton Weather office….that’s still well short of the record 33.3 set in 1935. A break from the humidity is on the way today with scattered showers and thunderstorms clearing the air.
