An elderly Brighton woman has made the right move after being contacted by a man claiming to be a police officer.
The woman called her daughter after the man, identifying himself as a Calgary cop, said he had arrested her grandson for impaired driving, and a large amount of money would have to be sent for bail.
The daughter called Northumberland O-P-P, and the investigation is continuing.
Fortunately, no money changed hands.
