Bear spray was used in a home invasion in Belleville yesterday. City Police say a man entered a west end apartment, late yesterday afternoon, and used the noxious substance to spray the occupant. Jewelry was taken and the suspect fled in a silver Honda civic. The victim suffered minor injuries. Police are continuing the investigation. Meanwhile, City Police are also investigating a breakin at the Kinsmen pool on the east hill. A cash register and 75-dollars in cash was taken.
