Quinte West O-P-P are releasing information today about an attempted robbery on tuesday night in Trenton.
A man tried to force a male employee of a variety store on Front Street back into the building at 10-30 that evening, but the worker resisted, and the culprit took off on foot.
The canine unit and emergency response teams were called in, but the suspect wasn’t found.
He is described as being six feet tall, thin, with his face covered with a balaclava and scarf, and he was wearing a long sleeve black shirt. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the O-P-P or Quinte Crimestoppers.
