Belleville Police have a warning about a new internet fraud scheme.
Prospective apartment renters have been viewing properties in the city on line, and some people have even sent money to an address in South Africa without even seeing the accomodations.
They find out later the apartment is already occupied,
Police say people should visit the properties before sending any payments.
