Good news for the eastern Ontario trail system.
The federal government has announced a grant of 303-thousand-157 dollars for the Eastern Ontario Trials Alliance. Prince Edward Hastings M-P Daryl Kramp says it’s part of the government’s economic action plan to boost local economies. He says it creates jobs and enhances trails for outdoor enthusiasts. Alliance general manager Cindy Cassidy says the federal funding matches what has been raised locally through municipal governments, such as Hastings County, and the user pay system.
